When our children were young we encouraged them to watch for and share natures stories during our evening meal. Well that time is past but John and I still share nature stories.
Here is our latest: While driving on Court St., our busiest, at 9:45 pm a deer ran across our path. John suddenly braked but we bumped the deer's companion. It went tumbling forward and struggled to get back on its feet. Soon it was bounding off into the nearby bushes but not before leaving too startled senior citizens thanking God that all was well with the deer and with us. As you can see, there is only a bit of hair left behind to confirm the incident. Ok, so the hair is the same color as the car. Trust me , this was NOT a senior moment.
so glad you, john and the deer are all ok. how scary though. we say a deer get hit on parkway once. it was trapped under the car.
