after a day of labor

Since we didn't have any special plans for Labor Day we ended up working. We raked the buckeyes from the front yard; then while John mowed grass I got caught up on laundry and did some cooking. When evening came we were ready for some rest. John suggested we build a fire and roast some marshmallows - great idea. It remined us of the fun we had last June while the family was together here. Our five grandsons love to make smores and roast weiners. This was a quieter and less sticky evening but still nice - we made another memory....
