
I have changed my Saturday routine to include lots of cooking. There is no planned menu; I just start making things. The result is that I have a good supply of prepared dishes from which to make meals for the next 3 days. So far this has been a life saver on Sunday when the two men in my life sit down after church and wait for SUNDAY DINNER to appear on the table. They don't demand that I serve every Sunday but my mom served a big meal and I kept the tradition after I married. Old habits are hard to break. We'll see how long this new routine lasts. With me every idea has to make room for a new one. But for today the eating is good.
i bet it's all delicious!!! can't wait for some great farm-fresh food when we come to illinois!
