another treasure

Yesterday I spent the morning with a friend laughing and lunching. We did a little treasure hunting and I found this clean and in perfect condition quilt. What a find at only $10. I don't need the bed cover but the quilt needs and deserves a good home. This lovely piece of bedding is completely hand stitched. We are talking major time invested here. I can't help but wonder why it was disposed of. The shop where I bought it often buys from estate sales. Probably this is just one more of a mom's things that no one wanted. Well is it safe with me until the next generation has to decide what to do with it.
