a favorite thing

Those of you who know we well know that I love to treasure hunt. On one of my ventures, about 7 years ago, I uncovered this wonderful sweatshirt. It instantly became my favorite. You know, the kind you reach for first....warm, roomy, comfortable. This garment has traveled many miles with me but alas, after its last laundry trip it failed me. The inside fleece has finally turned into something rough, ugly and itchy..no longer my warm fuzzy friend. How to decide its fate. No use donating it back to Goodwill but pitching it is not an option. My creative juices are flowing. Pooh will become a tote and join the other cloth bags that I keep in my car for my frequent shopping trips. Yea. I will not part with this old friend but let it hang around for a long time yet.
