The draw-string bags now number 20 - only 80 to go:} I am running out of fabric that is suitable for children. If you have any taking up space in your closet and would like to give it a good home, I have been known to take in castoffs. Also I will need more cord for draw strings....macrame cord, long shoe laces, drawstrings from sweatshirts etc. I am comfident that the Lord will provide so I am not begging for help but a friend suggested that others might want to be involved. Far be it from me to deprive someone of their blessing.
I will be checking out the thrift stores regularly for usable materials and for sales on fabric at the local stores. I do love my projects. Helping others is the only way I can really serve the Lord - He doesn't need anything but his children do. He said to feed the hungry, visit the prisoner, pray for the sick and made little bags for parentless children. (the gospel according to Norma)
WM's has some fabric & ribbon that might work for your bags. You are welcome to come look for yourself too in case there is something else there we missed. Sorry about Hans, men do not make good patients. You both are in my prayers.
