this and that
I am still here just running a bit too crazy to blog. Yesterday I did it again - yep- locked those keys in the car again. A gracious young woman in the waiting area at the cancer center gave me a ride home while the patient was not so patient:} Hans promptly called GM when we got into the house to enquire about another key that I could carry in my wallet. Well would you believe they want $60 just for a car key. Please somebody explain that. I don't enjoy those stressed filled times following a senior moment but I certainly don't like throwing money away either. From now on I will carry the extra key that usually hangs near the back door and pray that I never misplace my purse containing both keys. Had lunch on Monday with some highschool friends, lunch yesterday with a sister and coffee this morning with a friend. Very inexpensive therapy. I am good to go again.

Lunch with a friend is very special. Lunch with a sister is very priceless indeed. My sister lives in WV and I only get to see her about once a year.
ReplyDeleteI have done that locking the keys in the car thing. I have an extra key in my purse and another spare one at home. For some reason when we bought our last car we were able to get 3 keys. The next time you trade cars make a 3rd key part of the deal. I bet the dealer will do it.
