Saturday Hans suggested that we make a trip to Canton to their farm store. I am always up for an outing with the man so off we went. Farm King was having some special event so it was crowded but we didn't mind. Hans found some things that he had not been able to find locally and we enjoyed the antique tractor display. Lunch was fun at Brown's cafe. Upscale and gourmet it was not but the food was good and the old place had some personality. We were parked near this lovely old church building. Our mini vacation lasted only a few hours as the big man needed to rest but we had a good time.
I do believe that you don't live far from me as Canton is not far from here. We are getting a new farm store in Pekin on June 1st to take the place of the Sears store that just went out of business.
