downsizing

I have had this nagging thought for some time now.  We have TOO much stuff.    How can one continue to gather treasures when there is no place to put them.   So, I am in the midst of a pile of rummage.   It is only a drop in the proverbial bucket but it is a start toward simpler living.    Since the family is coming for our annual Granny Camp in a few weeks, this stuff has to be gone.          Actually I enjoy seeing what is stashed away in boxes in the attic and reminiscing while sorting things from another life.    I have been very good about not putting things back that I just might want someday.     This is just the first of many sales to come but I feel really good when I look into the cupboard and see an empty shelf.
