getting the job done

My Monday agenda did not include re-mulching the landscaping.    However, I could not stay inside knowing my husband needed a hand.   Our pickup is small but seems bigger when it has a load of wood chips  in the bed.   We scooped, toted, leveled and sweated and it looks quite nice.   I love rocks so there are many around the yard and each one needed to be lifted out mulched under and then replaced.    Big jobs can be very satisfying when finished tho I might have tried to talk Hans out of this one had I known ahead of time.    But then, the job would still be waiting to be done.    Best to just get it done.                    That strange ornament in  the front of the house came from the Turkey Festival.   I needed something to replace the statues that were stolen  some time ago.    This thing doesn't quite do it tho.
