where the bargains are

Today number one son and myself did some serious grocery shopping.   Enough of this buying a little here and there and then running out again for more.   I took him down every aisle at Aldi and showed him how to save some serious money and in these times who doesn't want to do that.     We had lots of fun selecting, reading labels and loading our cart with  not only staples but also seasonal fruit and veggies.      A cart full of food that will feed one for  quite awhile, and, for less than $100.       Of course we took in the 10 for 10 sale at Schnucks too.             I have been a thrifty shopper all my life and if I can convert just one - well I will have done a good thing.       Next lesson :   How to disguise leftovers.

  1. That is what mothers are for. Unfortunately my son doesn't pay attention. LOL
I too have always been a thrifty shopper. I could use a lesson on how to disguise leftovers.
