blogging and other stuff

I have this tendency to get a lot of things going at once and then forget to follow thru on some.   Such is the case with this blog.  The word blog is itself a bit boring.  Now if you want to see a real blog visit blogof joan@blogspot.com.   It is definitely not boring; it is a publication.   Of course it might help that the author is a professional writer/editor; she is also my youngest daughter and regularly posts photos of my grandson.  
Why am I too busy to blog?   Well, I am not too busy just distracted with other things like, sewing, crocheting, reading, solving cryptoquotes and jigsaw puzzles, practicing the piano and learning spanish words.  Not to mention occasional housework and preparing those delicious summer-food meals.   Also I am involved in another fund raising project-helping a friend string hundreds of tiny beads in school colors.   It is for a worthy cause and if you know me at all you know I am all about causes.
I might be more excited about keeping this space posted if I had better computer skills. (A class may be in my future) I read that one can spend an hour with a tech to focus on any area of computer skill for only $25 at the senior center.     Who knows this blog may win a pulitzer someday.  Or not:}
