I am not the only crafter in the family. Hans has been at it this summer too. We had an attic fan that quit working; I would have put it out for the trash but not my man. He took it apart, gave the metal to our son for recycling and then proceeded to make a "whirligig" for the garden. The painting would be too tedious for my temperament but not for Hans.
Of the 100 gift bags that I committed to sew for
children in the foster care program, 92 are ready to go and the remaining fabric is on the cutting table. Photos soon to come.
We are still in recovery mode from cancer treatment and doing these simple projects is good therapy for us.


The whirlygig is very unique. what a good idea.
