it's a party

today some of the family surprised sister Verla for her 80th birthday.    She is blessed with good health and youthfulness.         It was a joy to honor this wise and gracious woman.    A person of faith who has known the joys and sorrows of life, she is a fine example to all of us.     We love you Verla.      As little Maria said today, " only 10 more years until you are 90."
