celebrating

We had a pleasant luncheon at Avanti's to celebrate our 53 years.   Hans wasn't feeling great so we didn't stay long but it was so nice to take the time to reflect upon how good God has been to us and laugh about those who didn't think our marriage could last.   We have been blessed with four wonderful children who have,  and continue to, give us joy.    I won't even start telling about those five  wonderful, bright, handsome, creative, funny etc. etc. etc. grandsons of ours.

To love and be loved is an amazing gift.     Life has been and is good.         We fell flat more than once but God gave us a hand up each time.     To Him be the credit for our success.
