good junk

After the last rummage sale at my house I vowed to never do it again. It is so much work and ties up at least 2 days of my time. Like my new year's resolutions this one has gone bye bye as well. So while browsing at two sales yesterday I came across some boxes of good junk marked for only 50 and 25 cents each. Wow, I thought, this stuff could be offered for sale at my women's group event for a good profit. The boxes were carted home, sorted and reboxed. It now takes up space in our basement - along with the other accumulated discards of others . I really hate to see anything sent to the landfill if it can serve another purpose so the pile muliplies while awaiting the appointed day of resale. I am thankful for a tolerant husband. He never complains about the junk and even contributes by helping to set up tables and place signs around the neighborhood. The date is not yet set but be assured there will be more about this in later blogs. PS I will accept donations but we do not pick up.
