We came home from church today to warm over the food I prepared on Saturday and to decide how to spend our afternoon. Hans sings at nursing homes every other Sunday but today was an off day. The Art Fair at the Peoria riverfront has always awed us so we agreed this would be the event of the day. The artistic talent displayed was beyond my ability to grasp. Since my art is limited to a few common crafts, looking at these amazing pieces of pottery, jewelry, paintings and sculpture was rapturous. There was a big crowd out in spite of the clouds and cool temps. I didn't buy anything but was enriched to have been a "window shopper".
