The sky became quite serious about releasing its snow on us today and I loved watching it come down. I itched to get out into it but wasn't sure if I would find ice beneath it; so I settled for frequent trips to the birdfeeded. As the day progressed and the depth of snow increased Hans offered me a shovel. I really like shoveling - a job when finished reveals itself - but an old shoulder injury has held me back lately. What fun!!!!! The plop into the snow was staged. We both managed to stay on our feet for the entirety of the project. Aren't the trees beautiful. Sorry if you hate snow; I just can't help myself.
