disappointed

I looked forward to and anticipated with excitement visiting the mall today. Just remembering the towering tree in the center and the Christmas songs blaring away put a smile on my face. Well I am not smiling. The mall is now politically correct....no big tree (except by the Santa hut)..... no music..... no ho,ho, hos. It was like any other shopping day. No smiles or Merry Christmas greetings. It was the same yesterday at the grocery store, pharmacy and restaurant, no music, no tradition, just shopping as usual. Take away the baby Jesus, the carols and the good wishes and there just isn't much left. Perhaps not offending the minority is satisfying some but for the rest of us, we are offended. Give us our Christmas back. And for all of you who would want to remind me that Jesus lives in our hearts and no one can take that away, I know and I agree. Nevertheless, don't mess with my Christmas.
