Did you notice the date? All ones. Like starting at the beginning.
I like that.
What will the new year bring; no one knows but God my Father and in Him I trust. Already on the calendar are some unpleasant events to come, but God has seen them so what is there to dread.
I didn't leave unfinished projects of significance back in 2010 so I can move into 2011 with an uncluttered conscience. There are no new resolutions made but one thing I have challenged myself to accomplish is to make 100 small drawstring bags to be given to children who are in "the system". They will receive gifts next Christmas that can be securely stored in the bags and easily transported when the need arises. I started this sewing ahead of time so I have a jump start of 10 bags. Only 90 more to go. If I make only two each week I can achieve my goal.
PS I completed my challenge for last year to read the Bible through. What a blessing it was to read systematically. After all these years of Bible reading and study there were still new insights and inspirations. The Word of God is amazing. If your Bible has dust on it you may want to at least challenge yourself to read a few verses each day. LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!!!! Happy New Year Everyone.
